Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026 · Packpeer Limited

This Privacy Policy explains how Packpeer Limited ("Packpeer", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use our digital packaging marketplace, our AI sourcing agent and related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you agree to the practices described here.

01

Information we collect

  • Account and contact details you provide: name, company, email, phone, billing and delivery addresses.
  • Sourcing data you submit: packaging briefs, specifications, artwork, order history, quotes and messages exchanged through the Service.
  • Technical data collected automatically: IP address, device and browser type, and usage analytics gathered through cookies and similar technologies.
02

How we use your information

  • To operate the marketplace and our sourcing agent: matching your briefs to verified manufacturers, generating quotes, processing orders, and coordinating logistics and fulfillment.
  • To communicate with you about your account, briefs, orders and support requests, and to send you relevant Packpeer product and service updates as a business contact. Every such email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honour opt-outs immediately.
  • To improve and secure the Service, prevent fraud, and comply with our legal and regulatory obligations.

Our legal bases under UK GDPR are: performance of a contract (operating the Service you use), our legitimate interests (running and improving the agent, business-to-business communications about our services, securing the Service), consent (non-essential cookies), and compliance with legal obligations.

03

AI processing

Parts of the Service are performed by artificial-intelligence systems. When you use the brief agent, the information you provide — including your website address, your answers, and files you upload such as logos, brand guidelines, die-lines and artwork — is transmitted to our AI providers to generate analysis, packaging concepts and briefs on our behalf:

  • Anthropic (Claude models) processes your brief, answers and uploaded files to run the agent.
  • Google (Gemini models) receives design prompts derived from your brief to render concept images.

These providers act as our processors and are contractually restricted to processing your data to provide the service to us; under our API terms they do not use your content to train their models. Do not upload files you do not have the right to share.

04

Supplier identity & sharing

  • To deliver quotes we share the minimum necessary order details with manufacturers in our network. Supplier identities are masked from buyers, and buyer identities are masked from suppliers, until both parties agree to proceed.
  • We share data with processors who help us run the Service, under contracts that require them to protect it: Supabase (hosting, database and authentication), Anthropic and Google (AI processing — see section 03), HubSpot (customer relationship management), Resend (email delivery) and Lovable (application platform), plus — when live — payment and logistics providers.
  • We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose information where required by law or to protect our rights and users.
05

International transfers

Packpeer operates across borders: our company is registered in the United Kingdom, we run operations from Türkiye, and several of our processors (including Anthropic, Google, HubSpot and Resend) process data in the United States. Where we transfer personal data internationally we rely on appropriate safeguards — the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or UK Addendum, EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or equivalent mechanisms — together with the receiving provider’s certified frameworks where available.

06

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary to provide the Service, meet legal, tax and accounting requirements, and resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

07

Security

We use technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls and monitoring, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your data.

08

Your rights

  • Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to withdraw consent at any time.
  • To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
09

Türkiye (KVKK)

Packpeer conducts operations from Türkiye. Where the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") applies to you, Packpeer Limited acts as data controller ("veri sorumlusu") and you have the rights set out in Article 11 KVKK, including to learn whether your data is processed, to request correction or deletion, and to object to results produced exclusively by automated analysis. You can exercise these rights via hello@packpeer.com. Where required, disclosures under KVKK are provided in Turkish.

10

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the Service and, with your consent, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser or through our cookie banner where available. See our Cookie Policy for details.

11

Children

The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

12

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version with a new "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you of material changes.
